Escort 0.2 - One Last Job

You are a retired adventurer.

You’ve hung up your boots and weapons of choice, trading glory for a quiet life in a small town. But a debt, or duty, or a dire need has pulled you back into the fray. You must escort a young, inexperienced companion across a perilous world. The road is long, your joints protest, and your companion has much to learn. Can you keep them safe? Can you keep up at all?

Escort (v0.2)  is a journaling game about a hero past their prime on their final adventure. You can use the rules as a framework for a more freeform narrative, or simply play out your journey in bullet points. You'll only need a 6-sided die and notebook.
